Proud to have been included as one of the photographers in the 2016 Big Life Kenya annual report. Big Life Kenya is creating huge impact by being one of the largest employers of local Maasi rangers in the Amboseli-Tsavo-Kilimanjaro ecosystem, rangers are expertly trained and well-equipped to tackle a variety of wildlife crimes. As a result crimes against wildlife, like poaching of all animals in the Amboseli-Tsavo-Kilmajaro area of operation, whether for trafficking or bush meat, has declined since the inception of Big Life Kenya in 2010.
I look forward to working with Big Life Kenya again in the future. This assignment taught me so much about humanity and what it means to go the extra distance. Thank you to Richard Bonham, Jeremy Goss, Big Life Kenya's Commanding Officer, Francis Legei and all the rangers I had the privilege to learn from.
